MEET THE AUTHORS
MERRILL BLACK, LCSW
Reiki Master/Hypnotherapist/RYT/LFYP-2
Founder/Owner of The Temperance Center, Eastchester, NY
Merrill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Reiki Master; Hypnotherapist offering mind, body, soul, and spiritual counseling for over three decades. As an Intuitive Empath Healer, she guides her clients on their life path journey offering a blend of healing modalities
including Reiki/Light Body Healings.
In her guided meditation group, which is now offered worldwide, she relays messages from masters and beyond. Her group offers healing, guidance, and intuitive expansion.
Merrill has a passion for the arts of all kinds and music has been a big part of her life since a young age. She was drawn to crystals since her early twenties when she had her first healing with a crystal energy healer. Merrill loves to create a mood using essences and crystals surrounding her work and home environment. Her love of yoga led her to become a yoga teacher and a Certified LifeForce Yoga Practitioner. Merrill offers individual and group sessions of LifeForce Yoga providing support and reflection to shift one’s mood.
One of Merrill’s greatest contentment is to help others find their true essence of joy, love, and connection to something higher than their physical being.
She has provided numerous workshops and training’s all over the United States through a variety of organizations and venues to help others manage their moods, train them in Usui Reiki, as well as awaken/raise their energetic consciousness.

LESLIE LEE
Leslie is an intuitive creative, herbalist, plant-tender, and earth-medicine maker. She is the co-founder of LeeHouse.co, an online apothecary, where she and her husband offer handmade organic herbal remedies and body care. Leslie worked in the non-profit space for over twenty years, where she used her intuitive marketing and communications skills for the greater good.
Always a nature child, Leslie has studied mysticism, astrology, and various approaches to natural healing for most of her life. One of her earliest memories as a child is sitting in an old walnut tree in her backyard, reading stories about fairies and ghosts aloud to the nature spirits.
Her herbalism path began in college and has evolved into a lifelong learning journey from folk medicine to energy healing, from astro-herbalism to plant spirit communication, with a deep fascination for the interweavings of the cosmos with life on Earth.
Leslie is passionate about helping others connect with their Divine wisdom, and reclaiming their wellness sovereignty through growing their own food and medicine. She currently lives with her family, two dogs, and two cats on a small organic farm in the
beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains of California.
